Palm Springs, USA
An absurd city, dropped in the middle of the desert. Sand, palm trees, rich people’s houses and retirees, all absent half the year.
We were driving randomly when this house appeared in front of us. Polished architecture, an unreal blue light coming from inside, and that mannequin frozen behind the glass.
I didn’t add any light. Just the car headlights, the blue of the living room, and the long exposure twisting the colors.
That’s what I love. That strange moment when reality bends on its own, without any artifice.
A film set. Or maybe already a dream.

Palm Springs, USA
Une ville absurde, posée là au milieu du désert. Du sable, des palmiers, des maisons de riches et de retraités, tous absents la moitié de l’année.
On roulait au hasard quand cette maison nous est tombée dessus. Une architecture léchée, une lumière bleue irréelle venant de l’intérieur, et ce mannequin figé derrière la vitre.
Je n’ai rien éclairé. Juste les phares de la voiture, le bleu du salon, et la pause longue qui a vrillé les couleurs.
C’est ça que j’aime. Ce moment étrange où la réalité se tord toute seule, sans artifice.
Un décor de film. Ou peut-être déjà un rêve.

棕榈泉，美国
一座荒诞的城市，被摆放在沙漠中央。沙子、棕榈树、富人的别墅和退休者的房子，一年有一半时间都是空的。
我们随意开车时，忽然遇见了这栋房子。精致的建筑，从屋内透出的不真实的蓝光，还有那扇玻璃后凝固的假人。
我没有打任何光。只有车灯、客厅的蓝色，以及长曝光扭曲出的色彩。
这就是我喜欢的。那种现实自己弯曲的奇异时刻，无需任何修饰。
一个电影布景。或者，已经是一场梦。
