Bangkok, Thailand
A chunk of concrete thrown there, forgotten under a highway interchange. Nothing. Just a rock. And yet. It stood there, alone, lit by a greenish neon fighting with my pink flash. And for a second, it felt important. Monumental. I wanted to photograph it like a museum piece. With seriousness. With love. Because sometimes it only takes a glance, a light, to pull something out of nothingness and give it a new life.
Since then, it’s no longer just a rock. It became a character. A witness. A strange presence in a scene without a role. It exists differently now. You look at it, and it answers back.

Un bout de béton jeté là, oublié sous un échangeur autoroutier. Rien. Juste un caillou. Et pourtant. Il était là, seul, éclairé par un néon verdâtre qui se battait avec mon flash rose. Et pendant une seconde, il m’a paru important. Monumental. J’ai voulu le photographier comme une œuvre de musée. Avec sérieux. Avec amour. Parce que parfois, il suffit d’un coup d’œil, d’une lumière, pour extirper quelque chose du néant et lui offrir une nouvelle vie.
Depuis, il n’est plus un simple caillou. Il est devenu personnage. Témoin. Présence étrange dans un décor sans rôle. Il existe désormais autrement. On le regarde, et il répond.

一块被随意丢在那里的混凝土，被遗忘在高速立交桥下。什么都不是。只是块石头。然而。它就那样独自伫立着，被带着绿意的霓虹灯照亮，与我的粉色闪光交锋。在那一瞬间，它显得重要。宏伟。我想把它拍成博物馆的藏品。带着认真，带着爱。因为有时，只需一眼、一束光，就能把某物从虚无中拉出，赋予它新的生命。
从那之后，它不再是普通的石头。它成了角色，见证者，在无角色的场景中成了一种奇异的存在。它以另一种方式存在。你看着它，它也回应着你。
