Bangkok, Thailand
This building in Bangkok could be in Miami or anywhere else: its architecture feels universal. I photographed it from the street, then corrected the perspectives, which created this slight distortion on the left side. A subtle shift that unsettles the eye.
Here, no empty streets: everything is frontal, structured, rigid. And yet, there is this light. A single window lit among all the others. No retouching: just one person, alone, within this endless façade.
The pink flash covers the concrete with a strange, almost theatrical energy. An artificial skin on an anonymous building.
That’s the tension I like: a tiny presence, almost forgotten, within overwhelming architecture.

Bangkok, Thaïlande
Ce bâtiment à Bangkok pourrait être à Miami ou ailleurs : son architecture semble universelle. Je l’ai photographié depuis la rue, puis redressé les perspectives, ce qui crée ce léger trouble sur le côté gauche. Un glissement subtil qui perturbe l’œil.
Ici, pas de rues vides : tout est frontal, structuré, rigide. Et pourtant, il y a cette lumière. Une seule fenêtre allumée au milieu de toutes les autres. Pas une retouche : juste une personne, seule, dans cette façade infinie.
Le flash rose vient recouvrir le béton d’une énergie étrange, presque théâtrale. Une peau artificielle sur un immeuble anonyme.
C’est cette tension qui me plaît : une présence minuscule, presque oubliée, dans une architecture écrasante.

曼谷，泰国
这栋位于曼谷的建筑，看起来也可以出现在迈阿密或其他地方：它的建筑风格显得普遍。我从街上拍摄，然后拉直透视，这在左侧制造了一点细微的错位。一个微妙的滑动，扰乱了眼睛。
这里没有空旷的街道：一切都是正面、结构化、僵硬的。然而，却有这点光。一扇孤零零的亮窗，在无尽的立面中格外显眼。没有修饰：只是一个人，独自存在于这片无边的建筑表面。
粉色的闪光灯覆盖了混凝土，赋予它一种奇异、几乎戏剧化的能量。一层人工的皮肤，覆在一栋匿名大楼之上。
这正是我喜欢的张力：在压倒性的建筑中，一个微小的、几乎被遗忘的存在。
