Palm Springs, United States
Three perfectly straight palm trees, lit by a car’s taillights. I was with a friend, and I told her: “Hit the brakes.”
This is Palm Springs — that always-clear sky, that recognizable mountain, that unreal kind of light. Shot in 2018, in this strange city frozen in a parallel time.
I love these palm trees, their simple, sharp, almost graphic silhouette. They stand beautifully, aligned, as if they were posing.
A very simple photograph, but one I really like. It makes you want to be there — to feel the dry desert heat, look at the stars, and do nothing.

Trois palmiers parfaitement droits, éclairés par les feux arrière d’une voiture. J’étais avec une amie, je lui ai dit : « Appuie sur les freins. »
C’est Palm Springs : ce ciel toujours clair, cette montagne reconnaissable, cette lumière irréelle. Pris en 2018, dans cette ville étrange figée dans un temps parallèle.
J’adore ces palmiers, leur silhouette simple, nette, presque graphique. Ils se tiennent là, alignés, comme s’ils posaient.
Une photo très simple, mais qui me plaît. Elle donne envie d’y être — sentir la chaleur sèche du désert, regarder les étoiles, et ne rien faire.

棕榈泉，美国
三棵笔直的棕榈树，被汽车尾灯照亮。我与一位朋友在一起，对她说：“踩刹车。”
这就是棕榈泉：永远清澈的天空、一眼可认出的山峰、以及那种不真实的光。拍摄于 2018 年，在这座仿佛凝固在平行时空中的奇异城市。
我喜欢这些棕榈树，它们的轮廓简单、干净、几乎呈图案化。它们笔直站立，整齐排列，像是在摆姿势。
一张非常简单的照片，却让我十分喜爱。它让人想置身其中——感受沙漠干燥的热度、仰望星空、什么也不做。
