Palm Springs, United States
Taken in 2018 in Palm Springs, a strange city set between desert and mountains. This night scene blends mid-century architecture, meticulously pruned olive trees, and a tiny red Fiat — almost absurd in this universe of SUVs.
I used two exposures to capture the gap between the darkness of the starry sky and the extravagant lights of the villas. A short exposure for the stars, a longer one for the structures, then assembly, cleaning, restoration.
A calm, slightly unreal atmosphere, where light seems to want to reveal everything — even what should remain in the shadows. Already exhibited, printed in 30 copies.

Palm Springs, États-Unis
Prise en 2018 à Palm Springs, ville étrange posée entre désert et montagne. Cette scène nocturne mélange l’architecture mid-century, les oliviers taillés au cordeau, et une minuscule Fiat rouge — presque absurde dans cet univers de 4x4.
J’ai utilisé deux expositions pour capter l’écart entre l’obscurité du ciel étoilé et les lumières exubérantes des villas. Une pause courte pour les étoiles, une plus longue pour les reliefs, puis assemblage, nettoyage, restauration.
Ambiance calme, légèrement irréelle, où la lumière semble vouloir tout révéler — même ce qui devrait rester dans l’ombre. Image déjà exposée, tirée à 30 exemplaires.

棕榈泉，美国
2018 年拍摄于棕榈泉，这是一座奇异的城市，横亘在沙漠与群山之间。夜景融合了中世纪现代主义建筑、修剪整齐的橄榄树，以及一辆小小的红色菲亚特 —— 在这个满是越野车的世界里显得几乎荒诞。
我使用了两次曝光来捕捉星空的黑暗与别墅灯光的奢华反差。一次短曝光记录星辰，一次长曝光捕捉建筑与景观，然后再进行合成、清理和修复。
氛围宁静，略带不真实，仿佛光线试图揭示一切 —— 甚至是那些本该隐藏的东西。此作品已展出，限量 30 幅。
