Bangkok, Thailand
First night of solitary wandering in Bangkok. I had just arrived — drifting, jet-lagged, curious, silent.
After a long walk, I stumbled upon this façade: a bland building, faded colors. But its symmetry caught me, so I pulled out my pink flash.
In one impulse, the ordinary became fiction. Brutalism turned into a dreamlike set. Pink spread through the corridors like a gentle virus. A man looked at me — puzzled, but not judging.
I remember taking several angles, as if testing the limits of this façade.
This image captures the moment when aesthetics overtake reality. And sometimes, that’s already a lot.

Bangkok, Thaïlande
Première nuit de marche solitaire à Bangkok. Je venais d’arriver — en flottement, décalé, curieux, silencieux.
Après une longue dérive, je suis tombé sur cette façade : un immeuble sans charme, couleurs délavées. Mais sa symétrie m’a arrêté. J’ai sorti mon flash rose.
En une impulsion, l’ordinaire est devenu fiction. Le brutalisme s’est changé en décor onirique. Le rose a envahi les couloirs comme un virus doux. Un homme m’a observé — sans comprendre, mais sans juger.
Je me souviens avoir testé plusieurs angles, comme pour éprouver les limites de cette façade.
Cette image raconte l’instant où l’esthétique prend le dessus sur le réel. Et parfois, c’est déjà beaucoup.

曼谷，泰国
在曼谷独自漫步的第一晚。我刚到这里——漂浮着、时差未调、好奇而沉默。
走了很久后，我遇见了这面立面：一栋毫无魅力、色彩褪去的建筑。但它的对称性抓住了我，于是我拿出了粉色闪光灯。
一瞬间，平凡变成了虚构。粗野主义成了梦境般的布景。粉色像温柔的病毒一样蔓延在走廊里。一个男人看着我——困惑，却没有评判。
我记得自己换了好几个角度拍摄，仿佛在测试这面立面的极限。
这张照片讲述的，是美学凌驾于现实之上的瞬间。而有时，这已经足够。
