Bangkok, Thailand
An empty, slightly grim parking lot, closed off by a barrier. I didn’t dare. But my Thai friend jumped in without hesitation to place the flash inside. Thanks to her, I could trigger the shot from a distance. This picture wouldn’t exist without her. I loved the strange atmosphere of this carless place, lit by a sickly green and my red flash. A space meant to serve a purpose, but that night, it served no one — except me. There were even those tank-like structures at the back, and I still don’t know what they’re for. And that contrast between the two lights, that soft tension. Sometimes, you need a bit of boldness, and a touch of mischief. She jumped. I photographed. Perfect duo.

Bangkok, Thaïlande
Un parking vide, un peu glauque, fermé par une barrière. Moi, je n’osais pas. Mais mon amie thaïlandaise a sauté sans hésiter pour placer le flash à l’intérieur. Grâce à elle, j’ai pu déclencher de loin. Ce cliché n’existerait pas sans elle. J’aimais l’ambiance étrange de ce lieu sans voiture, éclairé d’un vert maladif et de mon flash rouge. Un espace censé servir à quelque chose, mais qui, ce soir-là, ne servait plus à personne — sauf à moi. Il y a même ces sortes de réservoirs au fond, dont je ne sais pas à quoi ils servent. Et ce contraste entre les deux lumières, cette tension douce. Il faut parfois un peu d’audace, et un brin d’espièglerie. Elle a sauté. Moi, j’ai photographié. Parfait duo.

曼谷，泰国
一个空荡荡的停车场，有点阴森，被一道栏杆封住。我不敢进去。但我的泰国朋友毫不犹豫地跳了进去，把闪光灯放好。多亏了她，我才能在远处按下快门。没有她，这张照片根本不会存在。我喜欢这个没有车的地方所散发的奇异气氛，被病态的绿色和我的红色闪光照亮。本该有用途的空间，那一晚，却已无用——除了对我。
角落里甚至还有一些类似水箱的东西，我到现在也不知道它们是干什么的。而两种光之间的对比，那种柔和的张力。拍照有时需要一点胆量，还有一点顽皮。她跳了进去。我拍了下来。完美的二重奏。
