This work is part of a set of five unique transformations created from the same source image.
 
This work originates from a photograph taken in Bangkok, then transformed in my studio in Marseille through a process of physical rephotography. The original image is brought back into play through a material setup involving light, water, reflections, particles and optical accidents.
 
This is not an image generated or digitally transformed, but a second photographic capture: a real, fragile moment, impossible to reproduce exactly. Each variation is born from an unstable balance between control and accident.
 
It is this irreversibility of the gesture that justifies the unique edition: the final work is the trace of a visual event that existed only once.
